Since our inception in 1987, the foundation of our business has been our commitment to excellent client satisfaction. OUR HISTORY

McKenney Mechanical was founded in 1987 by Stan McKenney Sr. and Stan McKenney Jr., as a piping contractor. The Danbury, Connecticut firm quickly grew into a full service mechanical contractor to meet the demands of its clients. After completing his business school education, Jack Mckenney joined the firm full time and together with Stan, they have worked to drive the strong growth the business has enjoyed over the last decade in our Newtown CT location.

We have a skilled team of Engineers, Planners, Project Managers, Estimators, Pipefitters and Plumbers; most of whom have been with the company for many years. Our team of HVAC Service Technicians is an equally valued group who we feel is of the best in the industry. Our support staff provides the crucial behind the scenes organization and support that allows our business to run in a highly efficient manner.

At McKenney, we have developed a Safety Excellence Program promoting an injury-free environment and providing the safest workplace possible for our employees, our customers and others who enter our worksites.

All field employees have completed the OSHA Safety Training Course and maintain proficiency through continuous training and education programs. We provide our employees with the tools, knowledge and resources they need for safety on every job.

We offer maintenance agreements tailored to meet the needs of the wide range of equipment we install and service, as well as 24 hour dispatch and emergency service. We are available for equipment surveys and energy conservation retrofit projects.
