Products:
The AAON LC Series Chiller features an all-in-one package design. The AAON LC Series air-cooled chillers are available with or without an integrated pumping package. This prepackaged design is more economical than buying and installing the components individually. The integrated package saves valuable installation time. By moving the pumping package to the outdoor equipment valuable interior mechanical room space can be better utilized while usable interior space is increased.
Performance
• Completely factory assembled, piped, and wired to accept a single-point electrical connection.
• Microprocessor controls are compatible with BACnet®, Modbus, Johnson N2™, LonTalk®, and Automated Logic® protocols.
• Variable capacity R-410A scroll compressors are installed on structural decks and rubber isolation mounted in the outdoor mechanical room for quiet & efficient operation.
• Factory installed thermometers, pressure gauges and air separators save installation time at the job site.
• Variable capacity R-410A scroll compressors modulate capacity to as low as 10%. By varying the compressor capacity loop volume and storage tank requirements are drastically reduced or eliminated.
• Low ambient control on all refrigeration circuits allows mechanical cooling even at decreased ambient temperatures.
Durability
• Rugged construction is specifically designed for outdoor operation.
• Compressors and controls are housed inside a control compartment protected from weather and outdoor elements.
Maintenance
• Access doors are provided in areas subject to scheduled maintenance. Doors are constructed with stainless steel hinges, perimeter gaskets and zinc cast lockable handles that operate from a single point and open from the outside or inside.
• Unit specific color-coded wiring diagrams are provided in point-to-point and ladder form and are laminated and permanently affixed inside the control compartment.
• Compressor isolation valves are available for improved service efficiency.
Green Benefits
• Environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant helps protect the environment.
• Factory installed system pumps are available for primary pumping systems. Installing these items in the AAON chiller saves interior building space by providing pumps, that historically were located in a mechanical room, in the equipment on the exterior of the building.
• Variable speed control can be installed on the condenser fans for head pressure control and greater operating temperature range, as well as to provide reduced sound levels at off design ambient temperatures.
