Oil Fuel, Forced Air Furnaces

These 80+% efficiency indoor home furnaces operate on fuel oil and 110 volts. Three models are available for different air flow and ducting configuration needs. Model LBF is an up-flow “lowboy”-style unit, typically installed in a basement. Model LUF is an up-flow standard-style unit, also for basement or closet installation. Model LHF is a horizontal-flow or down-flow unit typically installed in an attic, crawl space or closet. (Please see pictures of each model to assist in selecting.)

Upflow Oil Furnaces

These furnaces are typically installed in a closet or basement, most often replacing a similarly configured oil furnace. The Upflow Oil Furnaces are 54” tall. The supply air exits through the top. The furnaces can be configured so that return air enters either through the bottom or lower side of the unit.

Horizontal / Downflow Oil Furnace

These furnaces are typically installed in an attic, crawl space, or closet, most often replacing a similarly configured oil furnace. The Horizontal/Downflow Oil furnaces can be installed horizontally or vertically in a downflow (or counterflow) configuration. Return air enters the unit at one end and the supply air leaves at the other. (When installed vertically, return air enters the unit at the top and supply air exits at the bottom.)

Upflow / Lowboy Oil Furnace

These furnaces are typically installed in a basement or crawlspace, most often replacing a similarly configured oil furnace. The Upflow/Lowboy Oil Furnaces have a lower profile than the standard oil furnaces and are only 37” tall. They are configured with both the return and supply air openings connecting to the top of the unit.
